  • BACOOR CITY, CAVITE -- Mayor Strike B. Revilla has suspended classes at all levels in Bacoor City for Monday, 10 August, as a precautionary measure to ensure student safety during inclement weather.

"The safety of our children and our people comes first," Revilla said in a statement. "It is always better to take precautions now than regret it later."

In addition to the class suspension, the mayor ordered the immediate preparation and distribution of food assistance to evacuation centers across the city to support families affected by the weather conditions.

Revilla also requested assistance from the Department of Public Works and Highways to inspect and conduct immediate repairs on damaged local infrastructure to restore safe road conditions.

"When the safety and welfare of Bacooreños are at stake, we cannot afford to wait," Revilla added. "We have to act immediately and do everything we can to protect our people."
