    Sampu sa natitirang 14 na umanong ex-bodyguard ni dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez o tinaguriang "maleta boys" ang nakapagpiyansa na kahapon, ika-8 ng Agosto.

    Nagbayad ang bawat isa ng P74,040 para sa apat na patong na kaso ng perjury na may P18,510 kada count.

    Ang mga kaso ay isinampa nina ML Party-list Rep. Leila de Lima, dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV, dating national security adviser Eduardo Año, at Bureau of Corrections chief Gregorio Catapang Jr matapos silang idawit na nakatanggap ng kickback mula sa flood control scam.

    Kinastigo naman ng abogado nilang si Atty. Levi Baligod na "irregular at unusual" ang proseso ng pagpiyansa.

    Orihinal na nakatakda ang pagpiyansa noong Biyernes, ika-pito ng Agosto, ngunit hindi naka-abot dahil hindi umano ini-entertain ang panig ng mga ito.

    Tinanggihan din aniya ng tatlong notary office na inotaryo ang kailangang dokumento bunga ng takot sa madahilan para matagalan.

    Nagpasalamt din si Baligod sa mga tumulong upang malikom ang humigit P700 libo na pera.
