The project, titled SONGBIRD, was announced as part of the celebration of Regine’s 40th anniversary in entertainment. More than a chronicle of her achievements, the film promises a deeply personal account of the milestones, challenges, and defining moments that transformed her into one of the country’s most celebrated performers.

Produced by iMusic Entertainment in collaboration with GOAT Creative Studios, the documentary follows Regine during the preparations for her highly anticipated concert, Finale. Cameras capture not only the demanding rehearsals but also the emotions that come with revisiting a career spanning generations of Filipino music lovers.

A newly released teaser offers a preview of the documentary’s intimate tone. It features rehearsal sessions with longtime musical director Raul Mitra, while Regine candidly admits that even after decades on stage, major performances continue to make her nervous. The footage also blends treasured family memories, childhood photographs, career highlights, and touching moments with husband Ogie Alcasid and their son Nate.
