  • Actress and content creator Mika Salamanca candidly reflected on the painful lessons she learned from past relationships, revealing that being betrayed twice by a former partner completely changed the way she views love and trust.

During the media conference for her upcoming Regal Entertainment film Saving Cherry, Salamanca was asked whether she believes someone deserves another chance after cheating. Without hesitation, she made her position clear.

“No. Not at all. Once someone cheats, that’s already enough,” she said. “Trust can no longer be restored, and the relationship will only continue to suffer. For me, it’s a definite no.”

The actress also recalled some of the biggest sacrifices she had made in the name of love, admitting that she once gave up significant opportunities because of a relationship.

“When I love, I love deeply,” Salamanca shared. “One of the biggest things I ever did for someone was surrender my green card.”

She then revealed that she had also stayed in a relationship despite repeated betrayals.

“I even stayed after he cheated on me twice,” she said. “The first time was with his best friend, and the second was with his ex.”

While speaking about her personal life, Salamanca also offered an update on her rumored romance with fellow Sparkle artist Will Ashley. Although she stopped short of defining their relationship, she acknowledged that they have grown much closer over time.

“Our relationship keeps getting deeper,” she said. “I’m getting to know him better every day. He has remained consistent in pursuing me since Pinoy Big Brother, and I truly appreciate all the effort he has shown. We’re very close now, and I’m looking forward to seeing where things go.”

When asked about her philosophy on relationships, Salamanca said she believes genuine love should never be rushed.

“True love waits,” she said. “Things that burn too quickly also fade quickly.”

Ashley echoed the same sentiment, saying that love is best built with patience and at the right time.
