Full House Theater Company (FHTC) is set to stage the hit jukebox musical & Juliet in Manila as part of its 2027 theater season.
The Tony Award-nominated production reimagines William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy by asking a simple question: What if Juliet chose to live instead of ending her life over Romeo?
Created by Emmy-winning Schitt’s Creek writer David West Read, the musical follows Juliet as she embarks on a new chapter filled with love, self-discovery and second chances.
The production features a soundtrack packed with chart-topping hits by acclaimed songwriter and producer Max Martin, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “…Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”
After premiering in London’s West End, & Juliet opened on Broadway in 2022, where it earned nine Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical.
The Manila production will be presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International, with Full House Theater Company — the in-house production arm of Travellers Group — bringing the internationally acclaimed musical to local audiences. FHTC develops and stages productions at Newport World Resorts and the soon-to-open Westside Resort.
