  • Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto reaffirmed her commitment to advancing the province’s development as she attended the fifth State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

In a Facebook post following the event, the Star for All Seasons said she was honored to represent Batangas at the annual gathering, emphasizing the importance of close coordination between local and national leaders to improve public services.

“Honored to represent #MatatagNaBatangas at the 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Bongbong Marcos.”

The veteran actress-politician also underscored her administration’s goal of strengthening collaboration with the national government to bring more programs and opportunities to communities across the province.

“Patuloy nating palalakasin ang ating pakikipagtulungan sa nasyonal na pamahalaan upang maisulong ang mga programang maghahatid ng mas maayos na serbisyo sa bawat Batangueño.”

Santos-Recto has consistently highlighted partnership and responsive governance as key priorities, saying that working hand in hand with national agencies remains vital in delivering better services and improving the quality of life for every Batangueño.
