Canva has rolled out Canva Code 2.0 in the Philippines, introducing new AI-powered tools that allow users to create apps, websites, games and other interactive experiences without writing code.
The latest version builds on the concept of “vibe coding,” enabling users to generate interactive projects from plain-language prompts and refine them directly within Canva’s drag-and-drop editor.
Among the new features are on-canvas editing, drag-and-drop asset swapping, and HTML import, allowing users to customize AI-generated projects using Canva’s design tools instead of relying on separate coding software.
Canva said Code 2.0 can also generate projects from more than 50 templates or existing HTML created by other AI assistants. Users can edit text, colors, fonts, layouts, and images before publishing websites or sharing projects through Canva’s collaboration tools.
According to the company, average code generation time has been reduced by 75 percent to 45 seconds, while the median time needed to publish a website has dropped by 30 percent. Canva also reported that active users of Canva Code have increased 25 percent since its latest update.
Globally, Canva said its AI products have been used more than 32 billion times, while Canva Code has powered the creation of over six million websites in the past year.
Canva Code 2.0 is now available in the Philippines for users on Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education accounts.
