  • President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday extended his greetings to the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) as it marked its 112th anniversary, recognizing the religious organization's longstanding contribution to faith, community service, and nation-building.

In his message, Marcos said the INC has spent more than a century guiding a community anchored on faith, discipline, and shared responsibility, noting its growth from humble beginnings into a global religious institution.

The President underscored the Church's role in strengthening society through its values, saying, "Your enduring work reminds us that a life rooted in devotion and integrity helps reinforce the moral foundation of society."

Marcos expressed hope that the anniversary would reaffirm the INC's mission of serving others by uplifting those in need, comforting the weary, and promoting harmony in the communities it serves.

He also encouraged members to remain active partners in nation-building, saying faith should be reflected through service and responsible citizenship.

The President assured the Church of the government's support for organizations that strengthen families, promote peace, and foster compassion, adding that the milestone should inspire renewed commitment to helping build the vision of a "Bagong Pilipinas."
