FISHERS' PROTEST
(July 27 2026) Small fishers lead by KKAMPI (Katipunan ng mga Kilusan ng Artisanong Mangingisda sa Pilipinas) and PAMALAKAYA (Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas) march to Department of Agriculture on Monday June 27, 2026, to vehemently belie recent announcement of DA-BFAR that the fishery and aquaculture sector has recovered and growth have been achieved this 2026. The action will also exact accountability for both Marcos Jr. and Duterte for the dire state of the sector amidst massive and systemic corruption and continued neglect of the plight of small and artisanal fishers as it defends corporate interest in dislocating small fishers and their fishing communities.
