The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) held the 2026 Midyear Performance Review at the Balin Sambali in the capitol town of Iba, Zambales on 21 July 2026, as the institution aims to create a stronger scouting movement in Central Luzon.

Led by BSP Region III Chairman and Zambales Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr., the opening of the 2026 Mid-Year Performance Review and COA Seminar-Workshop were attended by Council Scout Executives (CSE)/Officers-in-Charge (OIC) of every council in Region 3.

He said that one of the great aspects of the Boy Scout is the citizenship training, adding that the council needs to reorient the youth and create a united front for the BSP.

The aim of the three-day seminar and workshop is to strengthen the coordination, participation, and unity of the BSP Councils in Central Luzon, as well as enhancing the programs and policies for the continuous development of the Scouting Movement.

During the first day, an open forum was held wherein discussions on various topics were tackled by the council, including the strengthening of polices, Scouting Movement, and the return of scouting activities, training of BSP trainers, and programs that will shape the young scouts.

This was followed by the presentation of the 2026 Midyear Performance Reports of every BSP Region 3 Councils based on their PES and MATA, including their own catch-up plans to further boost their programs.

Regional Youth Development Officer V Michael A. Indoma conducted an assessment after the presentation, providing recommendations regarding the submission of accomplishment reports, proper implementation of activities, implementing of policies, and effective monitoring of quarterly accomplishments of every council.

Led by their Council Executives, the Bataan Council, Bulacan Council, Cabanatuan City Council, Nueva Ecija Council, Pampanga Council, Tarlac Council, and the host council Ramon Magsaysay Zambales Council participated in the seminar-workshop.

Ebdane said that the BSP Councils of Central Luzon will continue to push programs that will further improve and boost the Scouting Movement in the region, and will continue to shape the youth into upstanding citizens and responsible leaders of the future.
