Bianca Pagdanganan will headline a Filipino presence at the Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship, where the Epson Tour heads to The Golf Club of Avon in Connecticut from 23 to 26 July for a key stop in the Race for the Card.

The tournament marks the Epson Tour’s first visit to The Golf Club of Avon and comes at a pivotal stage of the season, with players chasing valuable points in the Race for the Card, which awards LPGA Tour membership to the top performers.

Pagdanganan arrives in Connecticut riding the momentum of a tie for eighth at last week’s Greater Toledo Classic, one of her strongest finishes of the season. The 2020 LPGA Tour rookie has shown signs of regaining form and will look to build on that performance as she continues her bid to secure full status on the LPGA Tour.

Joining Pagdanganan are fellow Filipinas Dottie Ardina, Pauline del Rosario, Clariss Guce, Samantha Bruce and Tomi Arejola, giving the Philippines a strong six-player representation in the 144-player field.

The tournament features a mix of Epson Tour veterans, rising rookies and aspiring LPGA players, making every round crucial in the race for promotion.

Former champions Gina Kim and Daniela Iacobelli have used strong performances in the event to boost their seasons, and this week’s championship presents another opportunity for players to gain momentum heading into the latter part of the campaign.
