T8iuhhe Samsung Performing Arts Theater (SPAT) marked its 4th anniversary in a breath of pure theatrical alchemy, transforming the stage into a luminous landscape where memories and melodies collided.
The celebratory evening, aptly titled After Oz, became a sanctuary of sweeping emotion as Broadway’s own Lissa de Guzman and Allie Trimm breathed new life into the emerald-tinted legacy of Wicked. Under the theater’s grand canopy, their voices soared and intertwined like a beautifully scripted duet, casting a gilded spell over an audience completely captivated by the raw, nostalgic magic of the stage.
It was more than a milestone; it was a poetic tribute to four years of curating world-class dreams in the heart of Manila.
De Guzman and Trimm commanded the spotlight with an elegant, almost ethereal synergy, bridging the distance between New York and the local stage with every soaring crescendo.
As the final notes reverberated through the hall, the evening stood as a testament to the venue’s enduring promise: to remain a masterfully crafted home where global brilliance finds its most passionate echo.
