13 July 2026 marked the beginning of the happily ever after for actress Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co, president of grocery retail giant Puregold, as they exchanged vows in a private civil wedding officiated by Makati Mayor Nancy Binay.
On Wednesday, 15 July, Bea made it official herself. The new Mrs. Ferdinand Vincent Co shared a series of black-and-white photos from their intimate wedding on Instagram with the simple caption, "Home 🤍."
Now, let's look back at how their love story unfolded.
Dating rumors first surfaced in May 2025 after Vincent shared an Instagram photo of himself walking beside a mystery woman in Andalucía, Spain. Although the photo only showed the pair from behind, fans and netizens speculated that the woman was Bea based on her outfit and the timing of her own travel posts.
A month earlier, on 21 April, Bea had uploaded photos from the same location wearing a beige blazer, black skirt, and white sneakers—the very outfit observers believed appeared in Vincent's post.
Adding more fuel to the speculation, Alonzo also liked Co's Instagram upload.
Later that month, Bea appeared as a special guest at the Puregold Sari-Sari Store Convention held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Dressed in a stunning red gown, the actress was photographed at the event, further fueling speculation that she and Co were already more than just friends.
Heart Evangelista's Instagram Story sent the dating rumors into overdrive after she reposted a photo from a casual get-together with friends. In the snap, Bea and Vincent were standing beside each other, with Co wrapping one arm around the actress.
The sweet moment immediately caught fans' attention, with many taking it as confirmation that the two were indeed dating.
Later that month, the rumored couple also appeared to be supporting each other's business ventures. After Alonzo attended several Puregold events, Co returned the favor by showing up at the warehouse sale of Bash Manila, Bea's travel bag brand. The two were seen mingling with customers and guests, making yet another public appearance together.
On 5 July, the pair was photographed holding hands during Puregold's OPM Con at the Philippine Arena.
NET25 executive Caesar Vallejos posted the now-viral photo on Facebook, even referring to them as a "power couple" in the caption.
Later that month, the actress accompanied Co to another corporate event at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila. Musician Jay Durias of South Border, who attended the gathering, also shared a photo with the couple on Instagram, giving fans another glimpse of them together.
Alonzo finally confirmed that she and Co were together during the GMA Gala 2025.
When asked by GMA News about her relationship with the businessman, the actress smiled and simply said, "I think it's very obvious, yeah, that we are together."
She also addressed the wedding rumors during a separate red-carpet interview with Tim Yap, Janeena Chan and Martin Javier, hinting that people online were getting ahead of themselves.
"Alam mo yung Internet, they're like a few chapters away—or ahead of the actual thing that's happening."
Wedding speculation reached a new level after the couple's full names appeared during a livestreamed Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Parish Church in Manila.
The sighting immediately sparked engagement rumors because marriage banns are a long-standing Catholic tradition that publicly announces an upcoming wedding for three consecutive Sundays in both the bride's and groom's parishes before the ceremony.
However, neither Bea nor Vincent addressed the rumors at the time.
Although Alonzo continued to keep her relationship private, fans got a rare glimpse into her personal life during Holy Week.
The actress spent Easter Sunday with close friends and loved ones, including Dimples Romana, who shared photos on Instagram. The images showed Co joining the intimate gathering, suggesting that he had become part of Bea's inner circle.
Just months after engagement rumors made headlines, reports surfaced claiming that the couple was supposed to get married in Spain on 14 May.
But when no wedding photos or announcements followed—and Bea noticeably stepped back from social media—fans began speculating that the wedding had been called off over a prenuptial agreement issue.
Despite the reports, neither Alonzo nor Co addressed the speculation, choosing instead to keep their silence. They eventually spent time apart, with Bea flying to Spain with family and friends while Co remained in the Philippines.
In a stunning twist, entertainment reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz revealed on Tuesday, 14 July, that Alonzo and Co had already tied the knot.
He broke the news through a congratulatory Facebook Reel, saying that Makati Mayor Nancy Binay had officiated the couple's civil wedding at Makati City Hall on Monday, 13 July.
Later that evening, Mayor Binay also posted a photo with Bea on Facebook with the playful caption: "Coffee w/ coffeemate."
