Meanwhile, the agency deployed personnel from its Law Enforcement Unit (LEU) to the area to assist in enforcing the rerouting scheme and provide guidance to affected drivers and passengers.
The Quezon City government has ordered the temporary closure of Culiat Bridge II and implemented a rerouting scheme for affected motorists.
Vehicles traveling from EDSA to Mindanao Avenue are advised to take Congressional Avenue, turn right at Cagayan Street, then left at Corregidor Street, and continue to Ilocos Sur Street.
Meanwhile, vehicles traveling from Mindanao Avenue to EDSA should pass through Congressional Avenue, turn right at Oblates Fathers Street, then left at Villa Socorro Street, and proceed through Seminary Road.
Light vehicles, however, are advised to take Congressional Avenue, turn right onto Cagayan Street, then left at Ilocos Norte Street, Cotabato Street, and exit through Hereford Street.
Drivers and passengers traveling from Davao Street are advised to take Cotabato Street, turn right to Hereford Street, and continue crossing Congressional Avenue.
