As AI becomes another tool in production, responsible storytelling should always remain the priority. That commitment extends beyond visual effects.

Sigabo got people talking not just because of Coco Martin's explosive return to primetime but after viewers noticed the use of AI (artificial intelligence) technology in some scenes of the show.
With this, netizens weigh in whether AI really has a place in TV production.
That's fair because viewers have every right to call out what works and what doesn't.
But maybe, people see asking the wrong question as AI isn't a new technology knocking on the entertainment's door. It has already been inside the industry as production companies are experimenting with AI tools along with existing filmmaking techniques. Like CGI before, AI is gradually finding its place in production workflows.
Fact is, even Netflix openly acknowledged using generative AI in its Argentine series The Eternaut to create visual effects of a large-scale collapsing building sequence.
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos praised this strategy as it allows creatives to achieve ambitious, big-budget visuals that smaller-scale production typically and clearly cannot afford.
"I think that the idea that AI will out-imagine things and humans is pretty unlikely. It's quite the antithesis of what it's bult to do. AI is meant to take all the things that have ever been done and give you the most predictable outcome, which is the opposite of what writers try to do when they write screenplay or that a filmmaker is trying to do when they tell a story. So I don't get too nervous about it displaying creativity," Sarandos told Variety.
Even Oscar darling Everything Everywhere All at Once relied on AI-powered tools in its visual effects to help seamlessly blend its dizzying multiverse. Yet it wasn’t the technology that won Best Picture, it was the storytelling.
People also forget what goes into making one episode. Before viewers even notice a visual effect, there are actors, writers, directors, stunt performers, editors and countless crew members working behind the scenes. AI doesn't erase the work that goes into bringing a story to life.
Will AI make mistakes? Absolutely, just like CGI before it. It's also true in digital cameras as every new technology goes through a learning curve.
As AI becomes another tool in production, responsible storytelling should always remain the priority. That commitment extends beyond visual effects.
The team behind Sigabo recently met with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board to discuss compliance with the board's content standards, with the production expressing its willingness to work closely with the board and remain guided by its standards as it continues producing stories.
At the end of the day, audiences don’t remember the software behind a scene. What they're more likely to remember are the stories that moved them.
From beauty queen to senior citizen
When a not-so-young couple from the same network separated, it didn't take a long time for them to find another lover
The beauty queen found herself enamored with a hunk actor from a rival network. After exclusively dating for a few months, they became a couple.
The hunky actor was definitely not on a rebound love as he has long been single before he found the beauty queen worth loving.
The beauty queen's ex-boyfriend, as rumors have it, has found a new inamorata. Sadly, she not the type one guy would bring to Mama as reportedly, she already a Mama herself. She's a senior citizen who, according to rumors is loaded enough to produce a movie for him.
