Senator Christopher “Bong” Go urged the newly elected national officers of The Fraternal Order of Eagles–Philippine Eagles Inc. to use their positions to serve communities, strengthen brotherhood and remain responsive to those in need.
Go delivered the message during the organization’s installation and oath-taking ceremony Thursday at Le Pavillon in Pasay City.
The senator congratulated National President Agaton D. Javier Jr. and the organization’s new leadership, saying their election carries both responsibility and the trust of the membership.
“Your election carries trust, responsibility, and the hope of your brotherhood as you begin this new chapter of service,” Go said.
He described the ceremony as more than a formal turnover of leadership.
“This is a commitment to duty, the acceptance of responsibility, and the continuation of our advocacy as a fraternal socio-civic organization,” he said.
Go said the Eagles’ guiding principle, “Service Through Strong Brotherhood,” should translate into meaningful service beyond the organization’s membership.
