Fans of Eraserheads have another chance to own one of OPM’s most iconic albums on vinyl as Offshore Music has opened pre-orders for the white vinyl repress of Ultraelectromagneticpop! The 25th Anniversary Edition. Orders will be accepted until 1 August, with exclusive merchandise bundles also available.
Produced by Diggers Factory in France and mastered by renowned engineer Bernie Grundman, the new pressing aims to deliver an audiophile-quality listening experience. Unlike the original 25th anniversary release, which was limited to 2,500 copies and quickly sold out, the repress is intended to make the album more accessible to fans who missed out on the first run.
Offshore Music general manager Audry Dionisio said the decision was driven by overwhelming demand and the desire to discourage inflated resale prices. He added that the repress, released as part of Offshore Music’s 10th anniversary celebration, is the label’s way of giving back to longtime Eraserheads supporters.
Originally released in 1993, Ultraelectromagneticpop! remains one of the most influential albums in Philippine music history. Having sold more than 300,000 copies and earned a six-times platinum certification from PARI, the landmark record continues to resonate with generations of listeners, with Dionisio describing the new white vinyl edition as an album “you should own and pass on to your kids.”
