  • LG Electronics Philippines strengthened its presence in the hospitality sector through a two-day industry event that showcased technology solutions for hotels and resorts.

Held in partnership with Wordtext Systems Inc. (WSI), the Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce, and the Subic Hotel Association, the event gathered 110 hotel executives, including CIOs, CFOs, and key decision-makers at Lighthouse Hotel Subic.

LG presented a range of hospitality solutions designed to enhance guest experiences and improve hotel operations, including Hospitality TVs, LED walls for indoor and outdoor applications, and Interactive Digital Boards for meetings and events.

“The hospitality industry continues to evolve rapidly, and technology plays an important role in helping hotels create better guest experiences and more efficient spaces,” said Edgardo Kasunuran Jr., head of sales for Media Solutions ID & IT at LG Electronics Philippines.

The event also gave attendees hands-on demonstrations of LG’s hospitality display technologies, highlighting applications for guest rooms, function halls, conference spaces and public areas.

Interactive Digital Boards, including the TR3DQ model, were showcased for business meetings, presentations, and collaborative sessions.

WSI product category head Jamie Austria said the event allowed hotel decision-makers to see how LG’s technologies can help create more engaging guest experiences and more flexible event spaces.

Meanwhile, Subic Freeport Chamber of Commerce executive director Donna May Tamayo said the event connected the local hospitality industry with innovations that support growth, competitiveness and improved guest services.
