Solaire Resort Entertainment City has been named one of Asia-Pacific’s leading urban luxury destinations after placing sixth in the Best City Hotels category of the Travel+Leisure Luxury Awards 2026.
The ranking, based on votes from Travel+Leisure readers worldwide, highlights Solaire Resort’s continued standing in the region’s hospitality sector more than a decade after it opened as the Philippines’ first integrated luxury resort in 2013.
Located in Entertainment City and overlooking Manila Bay, the property offers luxury accommodations, dining venues, entertainment facilities, wellness amenities and gaming options, attracting both local and international travelers.
Brand strength
Solaire said the recognition reflects the strength of its brand and its role in helping position the Philippines as a luxury tourism destination in the Asia-Pacific region.
“To be recognized among Asia-Pacific’s best city hotels by Travel+Leisure’s global readership underscores the strength of the Solaire brand and the Philippines’ growing stature as a world-class luxury destination,” said David Batchelor, senior vice president for hotel resort operations.
He added that the award reflects the dedication of the resort’s employees, the loyalty of its guests and the company’s focus on innovation, service excellence and Filipino hospitality.
The latest recognition places Solaire alongside some of the region’s most prominent city hotels and underscores growing international interest in Philippine luxury travel and hospitality offerings.
