Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. honored outstanding military personnel of the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) during his exit visit to Camp Servillano Aquino in Tarlac City on 2 July, the Philippine Army reported Friday.
The visit formed part of Brawner’s farewell engagements ahead of his retirement from military service on 21 July.
Upon arrival, Brawner was welcomed by Lt. Gen. Aristotle D. Gonzalez, commander of NOLCOM, who led arrival honors for the AFP chief.
During the visit, Brawner personally conferred awards on officers and enlisted personnel in recognition of their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to service.
In his remarks, Brawner thanked the men and women of NOLCOM for their continued role in safeguarding national sovereignty and maintaining peace and security.
He commended the troops for their unwavering service and contributions to the Armed Forces’ mission of protecting the country.
