Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. honored outstanding military personnel of the Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) during his farewell visit to Camp Servillano Aquino in Tarlac City on Thursday.
The visit formed part of Brawner's farewell engagements ahead of his retirement from military service on 21 July.
He was welcomed by Lt. Gen. Aristotle D. Gonzalez, commander of NOLCOM, who led the arrival honors for the outgoing AFP chief.
During the visit, Brawner presented awards to officers and enlisted personnel in recognition of their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to service.
In his remarks, Brawner thanked the men and women of NOLCOM for their continued efforts in protecting the country's sovereignty and maintaining peace and security in Northern Luzon.
The AFP said the farewell visit reflects the military leadership's commitment to recognizing the dedication and achievements of its personnel as they continue carrying out the organization's mandate.
