  • South Korean blockchain and fintech company Finora Global Inc. launched “Finora” digital integrated financial platform based on a legal license and Security Token Offering (STO) at the World K-POP Center in South Korea on 25 June 2026.

A delegation from the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) led by Administrator and Chief Executive Officer Hussein P. Pangandaman joined the launching as the South Korean company affirmed its development plans to the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) during the said event.

Around 500 participants from the business, development, and investment communities in Korea attended the said launching.

Pangandaman congratulated the company, emphasizing AFAB’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with responsible investors, development partners, and international stakeholders interested in contributing towards the growth of the FAB.

Finora Global Inc. also reaffirmed its commitment to pursue a real estate, tourism, and recreation-oriented development within the FAB.

The proposed project, to be undertaken by Finora Technologies Limited, is envisioned to include a 9-hole golf course with night play recreational facilities, clubhouse with supporting amenities, and residential villas and medium rise condominium buildings.

The development is expected to introduce a distinctive leisure and tourism offering within the FAB, with the golf course designed to accommodate both daytime and evening play.

It is also seen as a potential catalyst for more tourism, recreation, hospitality, and lifestyle-related developments in the Freeport, while supporting local employment, visitor activity, and additional demand for construction, accommodation, and service-sector activities.

“AFAB welcomes Finora Global Inc.’s commitment, through Finora Technologies Limited, to pursue a concrete development project that may contribute to the Freeport’s growth as an investment, tourism, and recreation destination, subject to proper documentation, registration, approvals, and compliance with applicable requirements,” Pangandaman said.

He added that the agency congratulates Finora Global Inc. on this milestone and looks forward to the responsible implementation of the proposed 9-hole golf course with night play recreational facilities, clubhouse and residential villas and condominium building development in the FAB.
