Kim Chiu appeared to respond to Ogie Diaz's claim that they recently had an awkward encounter.

The apparent reaction came through Chiu's repost of a fan's post on X (formerly Twitter), in which the supporter criticized Diaz for allegedly expecting a warm reception despite previously speaking negatively about the actress.

“Kapalmuks ni OD na mag-expect na babatiin sya ni Kim eh puro paninira lang naman ginagawa nya sa kanya. Expect nya magiging chummy-chummy si Kim sa kanya?? The nerve,” wrote Chiu's fan, who goes by the X handle @mik_kysc.

The fan concluded the post with: “RESPECT BEGETS RESPECT. Eh ano ngayon kung 1992 ka nagstart?! Bakit ka rerespetuhin kung di mo naman deserve.”

In a recent vlog, Diaz recalled crossing paths with Chiu near the It's Showtime studio.

“Buti pinapasok ka dito,” Chiu allegedly told him.

“Bakit, bawal ba?” Diaz replied.

Chiu has yet to directly address Diaz's account of the encounter, but her repost has fueled speculation that it was her way of responding to the issue.
