MEET the storytellers behind the DAILY TRIBUNE’S Lifestyle and Entertainment section. This photo was taken last year, before Danny Vibas (middle) wrote ‘30.’
Through grit and the leadership of its founding editor, Dinah S. Ventura, the DAILY TRIBUNE's LIFE section has grown exponentially amid many trials and tribulations — from a lean staff to the biggest team in the omni-channel platform; from one to two newspaper pages, to the thickest Lifestyle and Entertainment section among newspapers in the country; and from zero to almost 100,000 followers in its social media platforms — making it the most followed LIFE section in the land.
To celebrate this feat, the LIFE team submitted to a fashion editorial, also marking the DAILY TRIBUNE's 26th anniversary.
MANAGING and Life editor Dinah Ventura embraces a clean aesthetic in a cream COS ruched drop-waist midi dress, layered with a cream suit jacket, featuring delicate spaghetti straps and a softly flowing skirt.
Inspired by The Devil Wears Prada 2, one of the biggest movies of the year and a reflection of the LIFE team's real lives as lifestyle and entertainment journalists, this fashion editorial was produced and styled by LIFE associate editor Deni Rose M. Afinidad-Bernardo and photographed by Yuko Shimomura.
The team wore reimagined wardrobe signatures with a relaxed rhythm from COS' summer collection, inspired by the spirit of the Riviera. Refined silhouettes and softly tailored forms are crafted from fluid fabrics and light textures, designed to move seamlessly between destinations and occasions.

Inspired by contemporary culture, the London-based fashion brand is known for iconic wardrobe pieces and elevated essentials that are aimed to last.
Matching sets become key pieces for destination dressing, realized in rich fabrics and elegant silhouettes. Dresses offer a modern, timeless sensibility, elevated through bouclé fringe details and sheer panels. Summer shorts are reinterpreted in preppy knitted sets and soft satin, while trousers explore a new lightness as the fluidity of silk and breathable ease of linen set the foundation for the season.
Defined by relaxed cuts and lightweight fabrics, menswear balances functionality and elevated design, centered on effortless versatility.
Tailoring is refined through modern, unstructured silhouettes across shirts, trousers and coordinated sets, while workwear-inspired details and softly sculptural knitwear introduce texture and a sense of exploration.
A clean, pared-back color palette defines the season, anchored in the confident simplicity of monochrome dressing.
