Rina Andrea delos Santos of Ballesteros, Cagayan, was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2026 during the pageant’s coronation on Saturday, 27 June, at the Cultural Center in Malitbog, Bukidnon. With her victory, she earned the right to represent the Philippines at the prestigious Miss Earth pageant later this year.
The competition gathered 32 delegates from across the country, each showcasing not only beauty and intelligence but also a commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. Delos Santos impressed the judges throughout the competition and delivered a confident performance in the decisive final question-and-answer round, where she emphasized the importance of translating environmental advocacy into meaningful action.
She answered: "Mabuhay pong muli. As a community tour guide, I am not just ready for the crown, but I am ready for the environmental and global responsibility that comes with it. I [guide] every single day in working towards putting the Philippines in a position that is not just a model of sustainability and environmental stewardship, but also a destination of beauty. And for me, that [is] exactly what [is] love and action. Remember, love changes nothing unless it moves, and when it moves, it truly changes everything. Thank you."
Delos Santos' victory completed a remarkable night after she also received one of the pageant’s special awards, further highlighting her strong performance throughout the competition.
Hosted by James Deakin, the coronation featured reigning Miss Earth 2025 Natálie Puškinová, who formally passed on the crown to her Philippine successor. The event celebrated this year’s theme, “Love in Action,” highlighting the role of beauty queens as advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and community engagement.
Joining Delos Santos in the royal court are the four elemental queens who will help advance the organization’s environmental campaigns and ecotourism initiatives nationwide: Prima Joy Alamban of Tumauini, Isabela, who was named Miss Philippines Air 2026; Alyssa Mildred Villariña of Mandaluyong City, Miss Philippines Water 2026; Tricia Anne Nichole Bangug of Agoo, La Union, Miss Philippines Fire 2026; and Roveelaine Eve Castillo of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte, Miss Philippines Eco Tourism 2026.
