Hundreds of job seekers and aspiring entrepreneurs gathered at SM City Bataan on June 27 to take part in Go Negosyo's Trabaho at Negosyo program, a jobs fair and entrepreneurship roadshow aimed at generating employment and supporting the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises.
The initiative provided free job-matching services and entrepreneurship mentoring through a collaboration among Go Negosyo, private sector partners and local government units.
Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion said the program is designed to make economic opportunities more accessible to communities outside major urban centers.
“This is how we create sustainable and inclusive growth, by bringing jobs to where they are needed and helping MSMEs scale,” Concepcion said.
The event connected job applicants with prospective employers while also giving small business owners access to mentorship and practical advice from experienced entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
Among those who attended were V Cargo chief executive officer and Go Negosyo mentor Paulo Tibig, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Bataan president Engr. Imelda Rubiano, CHN Café founder Chinnelle Mansilongan-Gabriel, and Bataan Public-Private Partnership and Investment Center Department Head Abul Khayr Alonto II, who represented Bataan Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III.
Trabaho at Negosyo is one of Go Negosyo's flagship programs that seeks to promote entrepreneurship and employment generation by bringing together government, business groups and local communities.
The roadshow continues to visit various provinces nationwide as part of efforts to help Filipinos find jobs, start businesses and strengthen local economies.
