QC, binuhay ang La Loma Lechon Festival

Sa kabila ng pabagu-bagong panahon, itinuloy pa rin ng pamahalaang lokal ng Quezon City ang pagdiriwang ng La Loma Lechon Festival na nagsimula kahapon.

Isa sa mga tampok sa naturang selebrasyon ang parada ng mga lechon na pinalamutian ng iba’t ibang costume at props. Sinundan ito ng boodle fight bilang bahagi rin ng kapistahan ng Nuestra Señora De Salvacion La Loma Feast.

La Loma celebrated Lechon Festival 2026

Nakiisa sa pagdiriwang ang halos lahat ng mga lechonero sa La Loma bilang pasasalamat sa patuloy na pagpapanatili ng tradisyon at kultura ng paglelechon sa lugar.

Bukod sa parada at boodle fight, nagkaroon din ng mga cultural performance at fireworks display na lalong nagpasigla sa okasyon.

Ayon kay Joy Belmonte, muling binuhay ang La Loma Lechon Festival hindi lamang bilang pagdiriwang ng pagkain kundi bilang simbolo ng pagkakaisa ng kultura, komunidad, pananampalataya, at kabuhayan ng mga taga-La Loma.
