Students, cyclists, volunteers, and environmental advocates joined Earth Island Institute Asia-Pacific (EII-AP) at Freedom Island, Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park, on 19 April 2026, for a coastal cleanup as part of the Earth Day celebration. Much of the marine debris collected consisted of single-use plastic and recyclable materials.
