MANILA City Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso has announced that the local government will shoulder the earnings of jeepney drivers to allow participating units to provide free rides to commuters as part of the implementation of Executive Order No. 14, series of 2026.

Nagpasya ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila na kanilang sasagutin ang arawang kita ng mga tsuper ng jeepney.
Ayon kay Mayor Isko Moreno, bibigyan ang bawat driver ng ₱3,000 kada araw kapalit ng libreng sakay para sa mga residente ng Maynila.
Tinatayang nasa mahigit 1,400 na tsuper ang lalahok sa nasabing programa.
Batay sa inilabas na Executive Order, ipatutupad ito sa loob ng limang araw sa loob ng dalawang linggo, Lunes at Martes sa unang linggo, at Lunes hanggang Miyerkules naman sa ikalawang linggo.
Maaari pang mapalawig ang programa depende sa pondo ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Maynila.
Inaasahang aabot sa 100,000 pasahero kada araw ang makikinabang sa nasabing programa.
