Posibleng umabot sa record high na P30 kada kilo ang itataas sa presyo ng liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Ayon kay Arnel Ty, founder ng LPG Marketer Association Inc. at pangulo ng kumpanyang Regasco, katumbas ito ng humigit-kumulang P330 na dagdag sa isang 11-kilong tangke ng LPG.
Gayunpaman, ipatutupad umano ang pagtaas nang paunti-unti o staggered, na magsisimula sa P20 kada kilo simula bukas.
Kapag tuluyang naipatupad ang mga dagdag-presyo, maaaring umabot sa P1,500 ang halaga ng isang tangke ng LPG.
Dagdag pa ni Ty, bagama’t may sapat na suplay ng cooking gas na tatagal ng hanggang 40 araw, hindi pa rin maiiwasan ang pagtaas ng presyo dahil sa mas mataas na gastos sa pagpapadala dulot ng nagpapatuloy na tensyon at giyera sa Gitnang Silangan.
