Nakaalerto ang Philippine National Police (PNP) kaugnay ng posibleng mga kilos-protesta sa nalalapit na pagdiriwang ng ika-81 kaarawan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ayon kay PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., inatasan na niya ang mga hepe ng kapulisan na maghanda at magsagawa ng pagsusuri sa sitwasyon.

Cops brace for protests on Duterte anniversary

Magpapakalat ng mga tauhan ang pulisya kung kinakailangan sa mga lugar na pagdarausan ng mga pagtitipon. Handa rin silang magdeploy ng karagdagang resources at assets kung kakailanganin.

Nilinaw ng PNP na ang pagpapakalat ng mga tauhan ay layuning mapanatili ang kaayusan at kapayapaan sa gitna ng mga rally.
