(December 23 2025) Passengers from private sector employees and house helpers avail free rides at the LRT-2 in Antipolo Station in Antipolo, Rizal, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) continue its free-ride program 12 days of Christmas on the MRT-3, LRT-1, and LRT-2 for select groups of passengers during the holiday period. Aarangkada ang 50% na diskwento sa pamasahe para sa lahat ng pasahero ng MRT-3 at LRT-2 simula Lunes, Marso 23.

Ipatutupad ito ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos, na naglalayong maibsan ang araw-araw na gastusin sa biyahe ng mga commuter sa gitna ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng langis.

MRT, LRT-2 may handog na 50% diskwento sa pasahe

Ayon kay DOTr Secretary Giovanni Lopez, malaking tulong ang naturang diskwento upang makabawas sa gastos ng mga pasahero sa tren.

Samantala, nakikipag-ugnayan na rin si Secretary Lopez sa operator ng LRT-1 kaugnay ng posibleng pagpapatupad ng kaparehong diskwento.
