Pandacan Transport Service Multi-Purpose Cooperative added 15 modern public utility jeepneys to its fleet this Monday, set for operation in the city of Manila.
The vehicles were showcased during the first flag-raising ceremony of March, led by the Manila local government and Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, who praised the cooperative’s initiatives.
Domagoso also commended the cooperative for offering regular salaries to its drivers, along with benefits such as monthly incentives and overtime compensation.
With the addition of the 15 e-jeepneys, the cooperative’s total fleet now stands at 105 vehicles, as it continues to expand its network of drivers traveling various routes across the city.
Aside from Domagoso, LTFRB Regional Director Atty. Zona Russet Tamayo attended the event and thanked the Pandacan-based agency for supporting the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP), which aims to upgrade classic jeepneys and buses with eco-friendly alternatives.
