The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Saturday reported the seizure of vape products worth P1.5 million following a raid on a residential property in Bacoor City, Cavite.

PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said the operation formed part of intensified efforts to enforce Republic Act (RA) 11900, or the Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act.

Operatives from the CIDG Regional Field Unit 4A, with support from the DTI-Intelligence and Enforcement Unit and local police units, carried out the search on February 24, 2026, in Barangay Molino VII, Bacoor City.

Authorities recovered multiple master cases of branded disposable vape devices, vape units and pods with an estimated market value of about P1.5 million.

The search warrant was issued against three individuals, all residents of Barangay Molino VII. However, they were not present during the operation and remain at large.

Authorities are finalizing charges for violation of RA 11900 and conducting follow-up operations to locate the suspects and trace the source and distribution network of the confiscated products.

“This operation reflects our firm resolve to enforce regulatory laws and protect the public from the unauthorized distribution of controlled products. We will relentlessly pursue those who attempt to profit by disregarding the law,” Nartatez said.

“Our position is clear: the law must be obeyed, and those who violate it will be held accountable. We will not tolerate this kind of illegal activity,” he added.

“The PNP remains focused on dismantling illegal supply chains that undermine lawful commerce and public safety. Accountability will always follow enforcement,” he said.

“We will continue strengthening our operations to ensure community safety and the proper implementation of existing regulations,” Nartatez added.

The accomplishment highlights the PNP’s continuing transformation framework aimed at making police service more responsive and accountable.
