Orogan, Camacho top ArmyNavy Run

Joel Orogan and Maricar Camacho were a cut above the rest as 10,000 runners took Makati City by storm in the ArmyNavy Run 2026 on Sunday.

Orogan was the king of the half marathon, with a time of one hour and 17 minutes and 25 seconds, way ahead of Mark Anthony Oximar (1:23:15) and Samuel Ranque (1:28:25) in the men’s division.

Camacho, meanwhile, ruled the women’s 21K distance finishing in 1:32:37, followed by Jennie Gutang (1:48:08) and Bernadette Sales (1:48:50).

It was a fun filled race organized by RUNRIO and has Nature’s Spring as official hydration partner, with a portion of the proceeds allocated to support the initiatives of the Ayala Foundation and Tuloy Foundation.

After the sold-out race, the finishers were also treated to ArmyNavy classic burger and a 500ml Libertea Zero on top of their medals and loot bags.

Blademore Macaraeg reigned supreme in the men’s 10K race with a time of 40:08, with Andrew Pope (41:54) and Nelson Reodique (42:41) in close pursuit, while Marikit Gomez finished first in the women’s side with a time of 50:52, along with Pauline Abril-Tabirara (52:56) and Shayne Lugay (56:05).

Mitsuru Watanabe topped the men’s 5K with 17:28, ahead of Rasmus Lanxe (18:45) and Rolando Cañete Jr. (21:22), as Eloisa Cusi clocked in at 19:40 to win the women’s side with Len Baguis (23:15) and Ana Adriano (23:38) making it to the podium.

Yamaha also gave out two motorcycles in the grand raffle draw to cap off the eventful day which also had gold sponsors Libertea Zero, Rev, Old Town Coffee, Grab and GenWell.
