Ex-rebel surrenders to San Rafael Police

A former member of a communist terrorist group (CTG) surrendered to authorities at the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) Headquarters at Barangay Sampaloc in the town of San Rafael, Bulacan, on 27 January 2026.

According to 2nd PMFC Acting Force Commander Police Major Michael Magsakay Santos, the surrenderer was identified as Ka Ben, a 58-year-old resident of Barangay Mapulang Lupa in the town of Pandi, Bulacan.

Santos added that Ka Ben is a former member of the CTG Narciso Antaso Armil Command (NAAC) / Kadamay.

In an interview and documentation, Ka Ben also surrendered his .38 caliber snub nose revolver without serial numbers and marking. The surrender was conducted under the coordination of the 2nd PMFC, and immediately underwent documentation process.

Ka Ben is under the custody of the 2nd PMFC in preparation for the Custodial Debriefing Report (CDR) that aims to gather valuable information that can help in conducting follow up operations by the police.
