Quentin Millora-Brown signed with the Chiba Jets, formally joining the growing list of Filpino stars who are competing in the Japan B.League.

The 6-foot-10 Millora-Brown made the announcement on Friday, saying that he will be playing for the Jets for the rest of 2025-2026 season to help them win the title after winning 24 of their 30 games this season.

He will take the spot of 6-foot-9 Michael Ou, who was placed on the injured list while center Jeff Gibbs will make a return to replace injured John Mooney.

“I’m super excited to be a part of this amazing program,” said Millora-Brown, who will be teaming up with prolific playmaker Yuki Togashi and former National Basketball Association campaigner Yuta Watanabe.

“I’m looking forward to competing with the team in front of all of you and playing with Jets Speed and Jets Pride!”

Millora-Brown is a gem of a recruit after seeing action for Rice University, Citadel and Vanderbilt in the Division I of the US National Collegiate Athletic Association. Then, he joined University of the Philippines to help it lift the Season 87 title of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines with averages of 14.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.

After college, he played for the Macau Black Bears in The Asian Tournament before suiting up for Gilas Pilipinas in the first window of the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers, where he averaged 7.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in their back-to-back wins over Guam.

“Just playing hard-nosed and being excited to be here every day,” added Millora-Brown, who will join Kai Sotto of the Koshigaya Alphas, Dwight Ramos of the Levanga Hokkaido, AJ Edu of the Gunma Crane Thunders, Francis Lopez of Fighting Eagles Nagoya, Kiefer Ravena of Yokohama B-Corsairs, and Ray Parks of Osaka Evessa in the roster of Filipinos seeing action in Japan.
