LVMH announced that Amandine Ohayon will assume the role of chief executive officer of Givenchy starting Friday, 9 January 2026, succeeding Alessandro Valenti. Ohayon will report directly to Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group and Louis Vuitton.
“Her ability to work closely with top creative talent, combined with her leadership and retail expertise, makes me confident that Amandine will accelerate Givenchy’s next growth chapter,” Beccari said in a statement.
Valenti, who joined Givenchy in July 2024 after spending a decade at Louis Vuitton, will transition to Christian Dior Couture as Deputy Managing Director overseeing commercial operations, effective January 12. In his new role, he will report to Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, Deputy CEO of Dior Couture, and join the brand’s executive committee.
Sidney Toledano, outgoing CEO of LVMH’s Fashion Group, praised Valenti’s leadership during his tenure at Givenchy.
“Alessandro demonstrated exceptional determination and efficiency in managing Givenchy’s transitional phase. The company is now well positioned to leverage its reorganized structure for future growth,” Toledano said.
Angeloglou also highlighted Valenti’s value to Dior Couture. “I am confident that Alessandro will bring vision and experience to our retail and digital initiatives, engaging teams to tackle business challenges during this exciting time for Christian Dior Couture,” he said.
Ohayon takes the helm at Givenchy during a pivotal period for the French fashion house, following the appointment of Sarah Burton as creative director. LVMH leadership said Ohayon’s inclusive leadership style and extensive industry experience position her to guide the brand’s next phase of creative and commercial growth.a
