Magnolia veteran guard Paul Lee is expected to be back in full health for the mid-season Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup.

Lee missed the Philippine Cup playoffs due to hamstring issues as the Hotshots received the boot in the quarterfinals.

He is currently taking advantage of the conference break to recuperate.

The 36-year-old floor general is undergoing a Platelet-Rich Plasma treatment.

“Six weeks at the most (recovery). But yeah, I’ll be playing next conference,” Lee said.

Lee hurt his hamstring in the Hotshots’ penultimate game in the eliminations against Rain or Shine in Bahrain.

He was relegated to the injured/reserved list and missed the next two games, including the quarters against. The third-seeded Tropang 5G eliminated no. 6 Magnolia, 118-109.

Lee was actually reactivated for the playoffs but needed to sit out a total of two games before being eligible to play.

He expressed excitement to get back on court and play alongside former Gilas Pilipinas teammate and now Magnolia playing-coach LA Tenorio, who was activated to an active playing role with Lee and Jerom Lastimosa hurt.
