Sinulog celebrations are underway in Cebu as AweSM Cebu 2026 brings events and exhibits to SM City Cebu, SM Seaside City, and SM J Mall. The monthlong festival offers activities for families, food enthusiasts, and creative communities.

At SM City Cebu, visitors can explore Sinulogtopia with Islands Souvenirs from 3 to 28 January at the Lower Ground of the Main Mall, and the GLOW CITY: Sinulog Centerpiece runs 8 to 21 January at the North Wing Atrium.

“Catch the electric moves of the AweSM Glow Dance Competition on January 17 at the North Wing, and crowd excitement peaks with Coco Martin Live on January 17 at the Lower Ground of the Main Mall and the Kapuso Stars Mall Show on January 18 at the Main Mall,” organizers said.

SM Seaside City Cebu features more traditional and local experiences. The Sto. Niño Exhibit is on view at the Cube Wing Atrium from 8 to 28 January. Food-focused events include Nakakalokal Goes to SM Seaside from Jan. 16–18 at the Mountain Wing Atrium and AweSM Lechon Fest from 12 to 18 January at the Seaview Wing Atrium.

“Maxing out the star-studded energy, the Sinulog Kapamilya Caravan rolls into SM Seaside’s concert grounds on January 17, while fur parents also get their moment at AweSM Petstival on January 24 at the Mountain Wing Atrium,” the statement added.

SM J Mall’s programming emphasizes arts and faith. Vested in Devotion: Cebu’s Fashion in Faith runs 9 to 31 January at The Atrium, Upper Ground. It is followed by Vested Devotion: Rhythms of Cebu on 18 January and Vested in Devotion: Runway Edition on 31 January. Visitors can also take part in AweSM Mask Painting on 10 January at Kyureto Art Space, Second Level.

The Sinulog festivities conclude on 18 January with two large shows: ILLUMINIGHT: Sinulog Drone & Pyro Show at 7 p.m. at SM City Cebu and the AweSM Skypark Grand Pyro Display at 9 p.m. at SM Seaside City, both lighting up the Cebu skyline.

Organizers said the events provide “maximum experiences that celebrate devotion, creativity, and festivity at its grandest.”
