The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) spearheaded the recent groundbreaking of 13 warehouse buildings intended for sale or lease to PEZA-registered enterprises, with an initial project cost of more than P950 million, at the LIMA Technology Center in Batangas.

PEZA Director General Tereso Panga graced the groundbreaking ceremony of Amplefield Malvar Inc.’s new facilities and the 30th Anniversary of CAM Connectivity (Phils.) Inc. on 17 December 2025.

The event brought together key notable regional partners and industry leaders, including the Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino, Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry President How Han Hui, Singapore Philippines Association President Andrew Koh, and CAM Connectivity (Phils.) Inc. President Yap Chee Horng — reflecting strong regional confidence in the Philippines as a strategic investment destination.

Amplefield Malvar Inc., an affiliate of CAM Connectivity, is undertaking the construction, operation, and maintenance of the said 13 warehouse buildings, a development that is expected to significantly expand high-quality industrial space for export-oriented and supply-chain-driven locators.

Trusted advanced manufacturing partner

Meanwhile, CAM Connectivity (Phils.) Inc., a PEZA-registered enterprise since 1995 and a subsidiary of Amplefield Limited, marked its 30th year of operations as a trusted partner in advanced manufacturing.

Since its inception as a precision manufacturer, the company has evolved into a one-stop shop offering services from initial design to manufacturing and final assembly.

CAM Connectivity now operates a black anodizing facility, a critical capability that strengthens supply chains for the electronics, automotive, and aerospace sectors.

The company employs over 200 Filipino workers at the Light Industry & Science Park II, Laguna.

Firm commitment to investors

Panga, in his remarks, underscored PEZA’s firm commitment to its investors, stating, “In PEZA, we say investments grow when they are invested right. With your trust in doing business in Philippine ecozones, rest assured that your investments will be protected, and we are fully committed to supporting you as you grow your business.”
