The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) conducted an immediate medical assessment on Sherra De Juan after she was safely retrieved from Pangasinan by personnel of QCPD Police Station 5, accompanied by her family, on 29 December.
The family returned to Manila at around 1:10 a.m. on 30 December. Upon arrival, the QCPD Medical and Dental Unit (MDU) carried out a thorough evaluation to ensure De Juan’s health and safety.
Initial medical findings showed that she experienced nausea, likely due to several days of minimal fluid intake and the recent resumption of solid food.
Doctors found no serious illness, noting that her vital signs remained stable. Medical personnel also observed a possible case of acid-peptic disease or dyspepsia. She was given medication and advised to maintain proper nutrition, adequate rest, and follow-up medical care.
The QCPD said safeguarding the health and welfare of individuals, particularly in sensitive cases, remains a priority. Coordination with De Juan’s family is ongoing to support her full recovery.
