(December 29 2025) Various militant groups trooped to the House of Representatives gate in Quezon City on Monday, December 29, 2025, to hold a protest action as lawmakers ratify the 2026 national budget. They said the 2026 national budget continues to contain allocations for lawmakers, unprogrammed appropriations, confidential funds, and massive infrastructure spending, which they oppose in light of corruption scandals involving government agencies and officials, including alleged irregularities in flood control projects.
