

Nine newly promoted officers took their oath and donned their ranks with Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr. officiating on Saturday afternoon at the New Conference Room of BuCor in Muntinlupa City.
The event celebrated the professional advancement of these dedicated officers, with seven elevated from the rank of Corrections Superintendent (C/SUPT) to Corrections Senior Superintendent (C/SSUPT).
Those honored were C/SSUPTs Raul P. Levita, Gary Garcia, Lucio Guevarra, Roger Boncales, Ruben Formoso, Alfredo Devanadera Jr., and Eduardo Gogorza. Additionally, two officials from the technical service, Marjorie Ann P. Sanidad and Noel M. Marquez, were promoted from CT/Supts to CT/SSUPTs, marking a significant milestone in their careers.
During the ceremony, Catapang extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly promoted officials, emphasizing their hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment that have earned them this recognition.
“This is your moment, but it is also a call to all of us: to continue striving for excellence, to support one another, and to foster an environment where everyone can thrive,” he remarked.
Catapang said the accomplishments of these officers not only reflect personal achievement but also contribute to the broader mission of rehabilitation and reintegration within the justice system.
