QCPD Acting District Director P/Col. Randy Glenn Silvio announced the arrests on Saturday, citing coordinated operations by various police units across the district.
The District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), under P/Lt. Col. He has a pending warrant of arrest for robbery issued by Branch 83 of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Quezon City.
Masambong Police Station (PS 2), led by P/Lt. Col. Rolando Baula, served a warrant of arrest on its No. 8 MWP, alias “Julie,” 46, a resident of Barangay Buros, Rodriguez, Rizal, at 1:00 p.m. at the Provincial Jail Management Division in Puerto Princesa City. She faces charges for violation of the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995, with the warrant issued by Branch 75 of the RTC in San Mateo, Rizal.
A record check revealed that “Julie” had previous cases for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 in 2020 and 19 cases of illegal recruitment and estafa filed between 2023 and 2024 across several provinces.
Talipapa Police Station (PS 3), under P/Lt. Col. He has a pending warrant for theft and violation of Republic Act No. 10515, or the Anti-Cable Television and Cable Internet Tapping Act of 2013, issued by the Municipal Trial Court in Kalibo, Aklan.
Galas Police Station (PS 11), under P/Lt. Col. Joseph Dela Cruz, served a warrant of arrest on its No. 5 MWP, alias “Rigor,” 43, a resident of Barangay Salapan, San Juan City, at 11:15 a.m. at the BJMP San Juan City Jail Male Dormitory. He is facing a robbery case, with the warrant issued by Branch 83 of the RTC in Quezon City. Records showed that he previously faced a case for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 in March 2025.
Meanwhile, Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station (PS 13), led by P/Lt. Col. Rowena Amata, arrested its No. 1 MWP, alias “Nelson,” 50, at 8:00 a.m. at his residence in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City. He has a pending warrant for attempted murder issued by Branch 141 of the RTC in Makati City.
