The Medical City and health maintenance organization iCare have finalized a strategic partnership to expand healthcare access for insured members across the hospital group’s nationwide network.
Executives from both companies signed a memorandum of agreement on 2 June at The Medical City’s flagship complex in Ortigas.
The deal links iCare members directly to the healthcare provider’s network of five hospitals and more than 70 outpatient clinics throughout the country.
Under the collaboration, iCare members can receive seamless coverage for primary care consultations, diagnostic services, specialist referrals, and inpatient hospital treatments at any participating facility within the network.
Hospital officials said the integrated system is designed to streamline administrative processes, improve patient coordination, and provide members access to advanced medical technologies and specialists without requiring out-of-pocket upgrades.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to making quality healthcare more accessible to Filipinos across the country,” said Dr. Stuart Bennett, president and group CEO of The Medical City.
“By bringing together our five hospitals and more than 70 clinics nationwide under a single agreement with iCare, we are expanding access to trusted healthcare services while creating a more seamless experience for patients and members,” he added.
The network-wide agreement marked a unified push by the healthcare group, with chief executives from all regional hospital hubs participating in the signing ceremony.
