The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has released its 2025 edition of Christmas cards, continuing its longstanding tradition of raising funds to advocate for every child’s right to a bright, safe and protected future.
Following the success of the All-Occasion Cards Collection, UNICEF once again partners with Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK), the country’s premier collective of children’s illustrators, expanding their collaboration through this year’s limited-edition Christmas Cards.
The new collection features original designs created to capture the warmth, joy, and enduring traditions of a Filipino Christmas. Drawing from their own childhood memories and hopes for today’s youth, Ang INK artists have woven personal stories and aspirations into every illustration.
“We are deeply grateful for our continued collaboration with Ang INK,” said Maida Salcedo, UNICEF Philippines officer-in-charge for Private Sector Fundraising. “Beyond spreading holiday cheer, we hope to inspire more people to give back and support vulnerable children in the Philippines in the true spirit of Christmas — the season of giving.”
Once wide-eyed children themselves, the Ang INK artists hope their artworks rekindle the nostalgia and wonder of Christmas while reminding the public of the many children who deserve to experience that same joy today.
Each set of UNICEF Christmas Cards represents a meaningful investment in a child’s life. Proceeds from every card directly support UNICEF programs, including education initiatives, life-saving vaccinations, malnutrition treatment, and protection for children affected by emergencies.
Through donations raised from the cards, UNICEF has been able to extend vital assistance to children impacted by typhoon “Opong” and the Cebu earthquake. These efforts included the distribution of water kits, medicines, ready-to-use therapeutic food for malnourished children, as well as school supplies and toys.
Sustained fundraising through initiatives such as the Christmas cards ensures that UNICEF’s work in education, health, child protection, climate resilience, and emergency response continues even during the most challenging times.
For P1,000, supporters can receive a set of limited-edition UNICEF Christmas Cards designed by Ang INK artists. The 2025 collection is available exclusively at the UNICEF Giving Shop, UNICEF Philippines’ official eCommerce platform.
