A Singaporean national has filed a criminal complaint before the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Bohol over alleged physical, verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse committed by her Filipino-American former husband, Rajiv Prem Chandiramani.

The complaint asks prosecutors to assess allegations of sustained abuse that the complainant said caused serious emotional trauma and long-term psychological harm.

Based on records submitted to the prosecutor’s office, complainant Vicki Narwani detailed incidents of intimidation, verbal degradation, emotional cruelty, and physical violence, including an alleged episode during a family trip in Panglao, Bohol.

What was supposed to be a family vacation, Narwani claimed, escalated into an incident that left her fearful and emotionally distressed, which she described as part of a broader pattern of abuse throughout the marriage.

Narwani further alleged that the abuse continued beyond that incident through repeated acts of harassment, humiliation, and coercive control, which she said had a profound impact on her mental health and family life. To support her claims, she submitted a licensed therapist’s psychological report as part of the case record.

The complaint also includes copies of a Singapore Interim Judgment of Divorce issued in 2022 and a Final Judgment of Divorce issued in 2023, as well as an Affidavit of Undertaking and Waiver previously executed by the respondent. In the affidavit, the respondent allegedly committed to refrain from abusive conduct, an undertaking Narwani claims was later violated.

Prior to the filing in Bohol, Narwani also lodged a separate violence against women and children (VAWC) complaint in Pampanga on December 1, 2025. That case stemmed from an alleged assault and related acts of abuse that reportedly occurred while she was seven months pregnant.

The Pampanga case was supported by an official Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Women and Children Complaints Unit police blotter and is cited in the Bohol filing as part of the historical record pointing to an alleged continuing pattern of abuse.

The complaint is currently undergoing preliminary evaluation by the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Bohol to determine whether probable cause exists to pursue criminal charges.
