Tech-driven healthcare model reaches 1-M patients

ONE million reasons why tech matters A tech-driven healthcare model proves that with the right tools, care can travel faster than the illness.
Filipino healthcare technology firm 1Life Inc. has reached one-million patients through two years of field hospital operations and nationwide deployment of its tech-enabled primary care model, underscoring the role of digital solutions in expanding access to healthcare.
The company said it has delivered community-based healthcare services in more than 1,261 municipalities across 80 provinces, including remote and low-resource areas, by integrating diagnostics, physician consultations, and medicines into a single visit. Using portable devices, cloud-based records, and AI-assisted workflows, 1Life has reduced the usual four-day primary care process to about one hour.
Most patients were served through community medical missions offering laboratory tests, imaging services, consultations, and medicines, as well as through 1Life primary care facilities, partner clinics, and school- and workplace-based health programs with local and national partners. In 2024 alone, the company reported serving more than 500,000 Filipinos.
The model is powered by the 1Life Digital Community Healthcare System, supported by DocMate AI and the 1Life Health App, which link field missions, clinics, and laboratories while supporting preventive and community-based care.
“Reaching one million patients is a reminder that accessible healthcare can change lives when delivered with consistency, compassion, and the right technology. Every person we serve represents a family and a story, and we carry that responsibility with humility,” said 1Life president Niño Namoco.”
He added, “Our goal remains simple. 1Life is dedicated to making quality primary healthcare accessible to all, particularly the underserved communities… This milestone is only the beginning.”
