‘DAILY TRIBUNE’ triumphs at Glitter Gala 2025

The Glitter Gala 2025 opened its doors last 30 November with a celebration of brilliance, philanthropy and Filipino artistry — but the evening shone a powerful spotlight on DAILY TRIBUNE, which achieved two of the ceremony’s most significant honors.

The publication was named Outstanding Newspaper of the Year, while its Managing editor, Dinah Sabal Ventura, received the coveted title of Seasoned Fashion and Lifestyle Editor of the Year.

Ventura’s long-standing editorial influence, coupled with DAILY TRIBUNE’s reputation for incisive reporting and cultural relevance, placed the organization at the forefront of this year’s distinguished honorees. The back-to-back wins became one of the most celebrated highlights of the gala.

Held at VS Hotel in Quezon City, the Glitter Gala “Runway for Hope” drew personalities from fashion, entertainment, media, business, public service and philanthropy. With its runway showcases, star-studded attendees and charitable mission, the event stood as a grand intersection of creativity and compassion.

The gala’s three-part awards program honored individuals who have shaped their industries through innovation, artistry and social impact. From trailblazing entrepreneurs to cultural icons, the night recognized figures who continue to push boundaries and uplift communities.

Beyond the Philippine Glitter Awards, the ceremony also included the Asia’s Best Brand Excellence Awards and the Philippine Philanthropy Awards, further expanding its scope of recognition.

Spearheaded by Richard Hiñola of Philippine Best Magazine, the Glitter Gala 2025 supported the publication’s 9th Year Charity Projects for Mindanao — ensuring that every moment of glamour directly contributed to meaningful initiatives.

Stars share their triumphs

Among the standout honorees were familiar faces who celebrated their achievements with heartfelt gratitude. Rising star Allen Ansay, named Young Trailblazer Personality of the Year, expressed how deeply the recognition motivated him.

Faith Da Silva, honored as Versatile Actress Personality of the Year, credited her team and years of persistence. Meanwhile, Haley Dizon, named Promising Young Actress Personality of the Year, shared how the award affirmed her hard work.

Media personalities also shone brightly, including Nelson Canlas, one of the night’s most applauded honorees; and Rikki Escudero-Catibog, who earned a spot among the 2025 Philippine Philanthropy award recipients.
